Willamette Valley Quilt Festival

It is the eve of the Willamette Valley Quilt Festival, and we spent most of the day setting up our booth and getting it ready for patrons starting tomorrow morning at 10 in the morning. I have spent the past couple of months working nearly nonstop on four new patterns, and the time to debut them is finally here.

Twilight Castle is a wall quilt is a fun twist on the traditional Air Castle block. A Star is Born is a cheery baby quilt that can be made in a controlled palette or scrappy one. The Caboodle Bag was originally a book bag for my daughter but can be used for all sorts of things such as tablets, notebooks, lunches, and other essentials. It features a pocket on both the inside and outside and offers several options for closures. Finally, Words of Whimsy is a decorative banner that includes an alphabet and some fun shapes.

I am incredibly proud of all these new patterns and I hope that you can enjoy them as well. They should be available for purchase in my Etsy shop soon. The Festival is at the Linn County Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Albany, Oregon and runs from 10 – 5 on Friday, January 31, and Saturday February 1. Summerwinds Quilts will be hanging out in booth 47, and we hope to see you at the Quilt Festival!
