What’s Up, Doc?

Summerwinds Quilts is shifting into high gear, getting ready for the upcoming Willamette Valley Quilt Festival, 1/31 and 2/1. We had such a good time at last year’s show, that we signed up to have a booth again this year. I’ve been busily getting some new patterns whipped into shape for you, and I’m looking forward to seeing new friends and old!

I’ve recently wrapped up my teaching for the year, saying a fond farewell to Jannilou Creations of Philomath, Oregon, as Lou transitions into retirement. We’ll miss the shop, but especially miss Lou and the gang, as they’ve been a part of our local quilting community for a long time. Happy Retirement and Best Wishes, Lou! You will be missed!

If you’re wondering where to find me for classes, keep an eye on my calendar – I will be getting new classes scheduled after the WVQF winds up, and will try to keep you up to date here on the website.

I hope your holidays were full of joy, love, and some stitching, and that you are ready to fill 2020 with lots of quilting!

Happy quilting!

P.S. Here’s a sneak peek of a new project coming soon. Under a “LARGELY” helpful cat, that is.
